Dear taxpayer,
already with the Circular n. 57 dated 02/24/1998 has clarified what are the necessary requirements for completing the postal or bank transfer intended to obtain the deduction of expenses for building renovations; in particular, the following must be indicated:

1) reason for the payment;
2) the tax code of the beneficiary of the deduction;
3) the VAT number or the tax code of the person to whom the transfer is made. To benefit from the deduction, the invoice does not need to be issued on a date prior to that of the bank transfer, obviously it is necessary to demonstrate an unambiguous connection between the two documents, as in the case in which the order number is indicated in the bank transfer which, in turn , is shown in the invoice to which it refers.
Best regards.
