WHY THIS INFORMATION

Pursuant to Legislative Decree 196/2003 and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter "Regulation"), this page describes how personal data of users who consult the website of  Edil Habitat S.R.L. are processed, accessible electronically at the following address:

We inform the user that following consultation of this site, data relating to identified or identifiable persons may be processed.

This information does not concern other sites, pages or online services reachable via hypertext links possibly published on the site.

Identity of the Controller

Source of data and type of data collected:

1) Data communicated by the user

Edil Habitat S.R.L., collects personal data voluntarily provided by users when sending a message using the dedicated form or the contact addresses present on the website  https://www.domushabitat.com.

The optional and voluntary sending of messages to the contact addresses, as well as the compilation and submission of forms on the site, entails the acquisition of the sender's contact details, necessary to provide feedback, as well as all personal data included in the communications.

The data provided will be used with IT and telematic tools solely for the purpose of providing the requested service and, for this reason, will be stored exclusively for the period in which the service will be active.

2) Navigation data

Edil Habitat S.R.L., also collects data relating to the user's use of the Website; this information is acquired by computer systems and software procedures used for the operation of the online portal, during their normal operation. Furthermore, the transmission of such data is connected and inherent to the use of Internet communication protocols.

This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers and terminals used by users, URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and computer environment.

Such data, necessary for the use of web services, are also processed for the purpose of:

  • obtaining statistical information on the use of services (most visited pages, number of visitors per hour or day, geographical areas of origin, etc.);
  • checking the correct functioning of the services offered.

Navigation data does not persist for more than seven days and is deleted immediately after its aggregation (except for any need to ascertain crimes by the Judicial Authority).

3) Cookies and other tracking systems

In order to make its services as efficient and easy to use as possible, this Website uses cookies. Therefore, when visiting the Website, a minimal amount of information is placed on the User's device, such as small text files called "cookies", which are saved in the User's web browser directory. There are different types of cookies, but essentially the main purpose of a cookie is to make the Website work more effectively and to enable certain features.

Purpose of processing

Depending on the type of processing to be carried out, the personal data of the data subject may be processed:

1) to respond to any communications, requests for information and/or services from users via the appropriate form or by using the address(es) present in the contact section;

2) Finally, the data will be used to manage and control risks, prevent possible fraud, prevent and manage possible disputes, and take legal action if necessary.

Legal basis for processing

With reference to the purposes indicated in the previous paragraph, the legal basis thereof is, with respect to the point:

1) performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject's request;

2) the necessity to pursue the legitimate interest of the data controller (in particular with regard to fraud prevention).

Recipients of the data

The personal data processed by the Controller are not disseminated, meaning they are not disclosed to unspecified parties, in any possible form, including making them available or simply consulting them.

They may, however, be communicated to employees working for the Controller, or to subjects authorized to process them because they operate under the authority of the Controller. Processing by these subjects will take place taking into account their roles and work duties, their respective competencies, and in accordance with the instructions given to them by the Controller.

In this regard, Edil Habitat S.R.L., has appointed third-party service providers in relation to the operation of the Website, such as hosting service providers, website service providers, IT maintenance service providers, as well as service providers that allow the integration of other functions into the Website that the user may use at their discretion.

To these service providers, designated as external Data Processors, only the personal data necessary to provide the corresponding services are provided, and they are not allowed to use or disclose the personal data of the data subjects for other purposes, without prior authorization from the data subject.

Data may also be communicated, to the extent strictly necessary, to subjects who collaborate with the Controller to respond to any questions and/or requests from customers (including potential ones) or to provide related services.

Finally, the data may be communicated to subjects authorized to access them by virtue of legal provisions, regulations, and community norms.

Data transfer

Under no circumstances does the Data Controller transfer personal data to third countries or international organizations.

However, it reserves the right to use cloud services; in which case, the service providers will be selected from those who provide adequate guarantees, as provided for in art. 46 GDPR 679/16.

Data retention

The Data Controller retains and processes personal data for the time necessary to fulfill the stated purposes. Subsequently, personal data will be stored and no longer processed, for the period established by current legal provisions.

It should also be added that, in the event that a user provides the Controller with personal data that is not requested or not necessary for the performance of the requested service or for the provision of a service strictly connected to it, Edil Habitat S.R.L., cannot be considered the controller of this data and will proceed with its deletion as soon as possible.

Data subject's rights

In relation to the data subject to the processing referred to in this privacy policy, the data subject is at any time recognized the right to:

  • request from the Controller access to your personal data and information relating thereto (Art. 15 of the GDPR); rectification of inaccurate data or integration of incomplete data (Art. 16 of the GDPR); erasure of personal data concerning you (upon the occurrence of one of the conditions indicated in Art. 17, par. 1 of the GDPR and in compliance with the exceptions provided in paragraph 3 of the same article); restriction of processing of your personal data (upon the occurrence of one of the hypotheses indicated in Art. 18, par. 1 of the GDPR);
  • request and obtain from the Controller – in cases where the legal basis of the processing is a contract or consent, and the processing is carried out by automated means – your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, also for the purpose of communicating such data to another controller (so-called right to data portability – Art. 20 of the GDPR);
  • object at any time to the processing of your personal data in the event of particular situations concerning you (Art. 21 of the GDPR);

If the data subject believes that the processing of their data violates the provisions of the Regulation, they may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Guarantor for the protection of personal data – www.garanteprivacy.it), as provided for by Art. 77 of the GDPR, or take legal action (Art. 79 of the GDPR).

Refusal to provide data

Any additional data that is not mandatory for sending a message through the appropriate form is provided on a voluntary basis; however, if the data subject decides not to provide the requested data, Edil Habitat S.R.L., may not be able to provide certain services.

Automated decision-making processes

The Controller does not carry out processing that involves automated decision-making processes on the personal data of individuals.
